I do apologise I got that mixed up with the radiotherapy,it is for six weeks..I was told I'd need around six to eight months off work and got the two crossed like a plonker.It was a lot of info in one go though to be fair.
I have my mother to take and pick me up from hospital at the minute yeah..
Today I have been to have the PEG fitted in preparation for next week.Was sedated at the time they did it,I must say it was very uncomfortable for me and is rather sore St the minute..I am back home eating and drinking as normal until surgery is done on Tuesday.I am so terrified of this even tho I know everything I need to know.I just know I won't look the same,speak the same,But must be done to get rid of this tumor.I just know how hard this is really going to become now!! :-(
