Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 20 | Hi, My husband was diagnosed with tongue cancer last year. Cancer returned shortly after radiation and surgery. He started chemo three weeks ago. He's bleeding a lot and it's scaring me. We have an appointment with his ENT doctor this Tuesday but I was wondering if anyone had at home remedies they used to minimize bleeding? Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | Im so sorry to read about what your husband is going thru! If its bad enough for you to call his doctor and to post here about it then it must be serious. I cant imagine going thru that! It must be very scary seeing him with one of the bleeding episodes. I always err on the side of caution, I would advise taking him to the ER. Most patients dont like going to get checked for every single thing but for his own good (and your own peace of mind) he should get checked out to rule out anything serious.
