Hi,
I am new to this site and am my Mom just had a partial glossectomy. She is 83 and the surgery went well. They did not do any node removal. It seems that most of your posts state this 2nd step.. Her CAT and Pet were neative

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
