Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 75 Likes: 2 | I have been out from radiation 6 years and had HBO and three teeth removed, then this year I noticed trouble with food getting stuck was told that radiation has done this and doing swallowing exercises and tongue exercises. And yes I feel so alone doctor said after 5 years I am cured I see him once a year but there are no doctors following up on the effects of radiation if you are lucky enough to be a long term survivor. If anyone knows of any doctors that do this, I have moved to the Tampa Florida area and will be going home for summers to follow up with my oncologist and oral surgeon. So please if you know of any resources in Florida please let me know, thanks
