It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that I lost my sister on November 17, 2003.
My sister had it all...courage, determination, love for her children, family and especially the will to live life to its fullest and much, much more. She was and will always be an inspiration to everyone that knew her. We will miss her.
The night before on November 16, 2003, I started a prayer chain...her husband was out, the girls were sleeping. We sat together my sister and I in her living room...with the lights off and the candles lit and many religious symbols to share between us she handed me some things to hold while we prayed and she held the others and I began to recite the Hail Mary 6 times because as you know she could not speak..We held hands quietly for quite a long time, if I had only known, I wouldn't of let her hands go. Nothing was said for a while after we prayed. She then blessed me and I blessed her with holy water and she then walked away into the other room. I will remember that night we shared forever.
During her illness, Linda taught us so much. To never give up. Live each and every moment to the fullest. To appreciate each and every day. With that said, in return we will continue to help anyone in anyway we can to support you and be here for you. God Bless and Take Care...XoX Flo

I participated in the prayer chain and know that, one way or the other, our prayers were answered. I know that this is a terrible time for you but be assured that you gave her all the love and care that she needed. We love you and will keep Linda in our thoughts this Holiday season. What a glorious place heaven must be now! God bless you and love, Judy U

Words just can't express the pain I felt when reading your post. I am so sorry for your loss. If there are angels, Linda has surely joined their ranks. And I'm sure she is at peace knowing that you are there to help care for her children and to help them through this sad time.

Bless your heart. I know where you are coming from, and it's an awful place.
At times like this, there are no easy answers. When children are concerned, even more so.
This is all a learning experience.....at least this belief gets me through.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know. And I'm not just "saying" that.
Love, Mandi
