Hi all,
I have just registered as I was browsing through various sites seeking explainations and came across here, where I feel I may be able to get the details of my survival replied to.
my name is Ananth Shenoy and was daignosed with cancer of the larynx in stage 4 - five years ago. I have been through so much pain and upheavels inthe past years that more often then not the doctors would give up on me and I would bounce back. I know most people say if one must get cancer - the luckiest is the cancer of the larynx - but my case is a very strange one and all my doctors have not been able to give me a pausibe answer as to how I not only saved my voice but fought all the preceeding battles and survived.
I am extremely keen on sharing this unique experience with you all and hope there is someone out there who could give me the answers.

Welcome Ananth

Thankyou for sharing your story and congratulations on being a long-term survivor against all odds.

From reading your story I can see that you and I share similar spiritual beliefs. I too believe that my life has been enriched because I have had cancer. Even if it takes me out in the end, I have become a more giving human being.

I believe that you have survived because your life-purpose had not been fulfilled. Now you are sharing your story to inspire others and helping children on their journey with cancer.

Best wishes and love from Helen

Hi folks,
Thank you for welcoming me into the club and am more then just happy to hear from you. Seeing that each one is a fighter makes me feel great to no end.The reason why I asked the question about my surviving is mentioned in a story form in " surviors" in this site. I would love you all to go through the story and then give me your opinions. I am truly looking for answers and just cannot seem to find any.
Yes I too believe that I am alive because my mission on earth is not over - but then the question remains - what is the mission?
Lots of love to you all.
Ananth

Ananth....thank you for the PM. You are "awesome"! From what you have written, you are fulfilling your mission quite extraordinarily! Please share what you are doing and have accomplished, with all on the OCF Board. Love, Carol
