Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,294 Likes: 1 | Skin burns and rash from radiation is often treated with Aquafor, then something like silver silvadene. I got off easy and the aquafor did the job but had a jar of the other stuff in case.

Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 5,264 Likes: 5 | I had a friend who used the manuka to put on his radiation neck burns and it helped. I'm blessed in that my skin didn't suffer too badly from the rads but the manuka also helped me get through most of my rads before I needed pain meds etc...
My friend used to put dollops of the honey on tin foil, freeze them then peel the off and put them on the spot and cover with a bandage, worked like a charm he said. Hugs.
