After waiting for 6 hrs at the airport, he was home to Maine by 4 and we were home here by 6p. I am amazed at how well he is doing. After 5 wks of IMRT, he is in much better shape than when he left. Of course the eye that he couldn`t open, is open now, but now he can`t close it, so we`re taping it shut at night. The doc is very pleased with his response to treatment, but still have to wait and see how much it will help. He asked me to thank all for prayers and cards. And I think this is a good time for me to to say how thankful I am for this board. Aside from prayers and support from people who understand what we are going through, it allows me the chance to take all this crap we`ve gone through and be able to help others, and I think that helps give meaning to this long strange trip, we call life...........Happy Thanksgiving to All......Packer and Dee | | |

Even better Packer is doing well with treatment. I think that will make a lot of people that tune in here have a nicer holiday too. Friends of mine from three different churches asked me if I wanted on their prayer list recently, I said my last surgery was October and I was good for awhile but I gave them Franks name and another friend who needs a bone marrow transplant. I figures you would not mind , its not my religion or yours but all good vibes and prayers help I figure. My best wishes to Dee and Frank and the rest of the board for a great Thanksgiving.
