Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 35 | Someone brought homeopathy to my attention yesterday but am not familiar with it. Any suggestions?
CG to mother. Diagnosed with SCC August 08. Surgery Sep 08 to remove right mandible and replace it with fibula from left leg. Also neck dissection with one pos. node. Rad/Chemo with cisplatin completed Nov 30, 2008.

There's a story going on here in New Zealand about the lowest ranked Green Party member who signed a petition to have homeopathy considered for Ebola! A sympathetic homeopathist might trigger a good placebo effect but a placebo is not going to stop cancer cells doing their thing.
1996, ovarian cancer surgery + cisplatin and taxol.
September, 2007, SCC of left lateral tongue. Excision.
October, 2009 recurrence in scar tissue, T1NOMO. Free flap surgery from left wrist - neck dissection. 63 year old New Zealander. No chemo, no RT.
February, 2014. New primary in left buccal mucosa. Marginal mandibulectomy, neck dissection, right arm free forearm flap. T1N0M0 but third occurrence and some areas of concern: RT started 8 April and finished 19 May.
