April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.

Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 4,918 Likes: 65 | The irony of all this is how much a problem it is in high school sports and college sports and (at worst) the coaches that encourage the use of it all or (at best) don't discourage the use of smokeless. It brings nothing of value to the sport. When some of those individuals are put under a light we may see a change.
