Am new to the forum. Have been through testing and MRI's. Now biopsy time. Have only heard horror stories of oral cancer. Petrified. Found this site searching internet so appreciate any advice moving forward.

Hi and greetings. We all know that initial feeling. What can I say? Try and take it one day at a time. Do things you enjoy that will maybe take your mind off of it for a time. Tons of things go through your mind. All negative. Sometimes though, after you have your biopsy and discuss things with your doctor, none of them were warranted.
hang in there.

Hi Airplane. How are you going? I know the fear of the unknown. Since my diagnosis I have been doing all I can to find out anything about oral cancer. This site and others has been a wealth of information...knowing a lot more now has certainly made it a lot easier.
Hope you are doing okay
Take care
Karyn

I am doing fine. How about you? You are right. It is the fear of the unknown. I will know more in the next few weeks. I have some more Dr. appts. to attend. I am trying to be as positive as I can be and just relax. I think stress just adds to the complications. I will keep you in my prayers and hope all works out well for you as I am sure it will. My parents took a trip to New Zealand a while back and said it was one of the most amazing places they have ever been. Hope to visit there one day. You take care also. Talk to you soon.
Thanks for the reply
