I already eat a balanced diet but have increased my fiber and fluid intake even more, including prune juice. I was wondering if any of you have some favorite recipes that help with this?
Forgive me if this is a repeat question, but the only information I could find was people referencing having problems but didn't find any suggestions for solutions.

If all else fails, use an E bag. If water can move battleships, it will work for a little constipation.

They were prescribed by the doc who gave me the pain meds and worked very well as long as I took them religiously. I don't know if you can get it in the US but before rads and a sore mouth I was advised to take Kiwicrush ... a lovely frozen Kiwifruit juice that works a treat.

Kiwi crush works well. For more resistant constipation add Lactulose syrup and Laxsol tablets. Should this fail try Movicol. That will work.

Movicol was the only thing that worked for me. Vile stuff, but it beats being hospitalised. For sure try the kiwijuice etc, but if you go more than a couple of days without a poo, get on top of it right away with Movicol. Most all constipation remedies are similar to "draino". Goes in the top to unclog things. Another approach I am familiar with is to call RotoRooter and service the other end of the pipe. Not as nice but can be effective. :-)

When all else failed my oncology nurse said three magic words: "Buy rubber gloves". Not the most fun I've ever had, but the relief was fantastic.
