Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 6 | the last 3 days I have had cold chills and vomiting 2-3 times a day.
It just came out of nowhere. I am not sick...just get a cold frigid spell a couple of times a day then vomit profusely for a few minutes. Lost 3 ounds in 3 days. I also extreme back pain from middle of back all the way to the middle of my right thigh.

3/2013 diag w/ s 4 tongue cancer
6/24/2013 3.8 cm lump repld 70% of tongue j-peg feed tube
6/24/2013-07/22/2013 hosp. 7/22/2013 present hm nurse swallow spec speech thphy
09/03/2013 start rad and chemo
11/08/2013 finished 5 weeks of Radiation 3 chemo treatments and 1 week of Cyber Radiation...mouth and tongue infected and swollen

Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 559 Likes: 1 | How much weight have you lost before the cold chills and vomiting started. There were several days I didn't get enough to eat and besides causing more weight loss, it also made me weaker with main side effect being I would get cold more easily (and have to take more frequent naps). I had to raise thermostat in my house by as much as 4 degrees over normal.
While this may help explain what's going on, I also agree with Christine that you should see your doctor. Don't let it get worse, you're already in a weakened state.
Let us know what the doc says.

12/13 taste gone, dry mouth,
02/14 hair slowly returning
05/14 taste the same, dry sinuses, irrigation helps.
01/15 food taste about 60% returned, dry sinuses are worse in winter.
12/20 no more sinus problems, taste pretty good

6 pounds. Iam still not able to eat any solid foods. Everything I eat is through a blender. My tongue surgery was June 24th 2013. So it has been 6 1/2 months. Going to the Doctor Tomorrow Tuesday
