I don't know if anyone has tried quench gum but It seems to work better than the biotene gum for dry mouth. You can buy it at dicks sporting goods or scheels. Thought I would throw that out there my nutritionist recommended it.

That type of gum has xylitol which helps produce saliva. It can be bought in bulk from Amazon. By buying in bulk it should be less expensive plus if you click on the green Amazon box on the main forum page then OCF will also benefit by getting a small kickback. It may only be a few cents (when put together with other purchase kickbacks add up) but it really does make a difference to a small nonprofit who runs on a shoestring budget.

Thank you for posting, Curt. The name Quench Gum sounds familiar, but I don't know if the product has been around that long that I would have tried before. I saw that Jone's Soda Company makes a soda candy. It's made with sodium bicarbonate, and fizzes in the mouth. I'll see of I can get some at the convienance drugstore to try it too.

Be well
