I didn't vomit but the medicine makes me feel like I have a lump in my chest from heartburn. If anyone else has dealt with this let me know.
Thanks
Curt

It may or may not be related to the medicine. Vomiting acids damage your esphogus lining. Are you drinking enough with your medicines? sitting up, and not laying down? Time of day may effect it too like at night time before going to bed instead of in the morning. Taking meds with food or not? Constipation can cause nausea, vomiting too. I sleep on an incline bed, which helps with acid reflux. Other medications, vitamins can cause acid reflux or GERD, food too or lack of. Even chemo can damage the mucosal lining from your mouth down to your tail. Some use Glutamine powder mixed with water to help repair tissue in the mucosal lining, helps with neuropathy too, aloe Vera juice also, which is slightly laxative, but that may help with pains meds causing constipation.
Good luck, and hope you find some answers, relief.

I plan to talk to my doctor before the next round of chemo which will not be for another couple weeks. It was mostly heartburn and not so much acid reflux. I took some tums and anti acid meds and that seemed to help. If I get an answer from my doc that works I will post it. Two days off of treatment and I am feeling pretty good. Thanksgiving next week and four days off, yeah!

I'm not going to post it until I finish my coffee lol. Yes, Happy Thanksgiving, and a four day weekend too! Enjoy it as best you can, even being around family, friends, watching TV, giving thanks is what it's about. http://www.cancernetwork.com/cancer...8602EFE&rememberme=1&ts=22112013

I exceeded the article predictions for delayed onset as I didn't get sick for a week later. I think part of my problem was constipation and the laxative they gave me to drink. Happy thanksgiving!

Hopefully time has resolved it. I took colace, a laxatve last year from the opiod pain meds, and canned protein drink during chemo.
