everyone who got dx from lump/swollen lymph node in your neck, what was the size of swollen lymph node that was biopsed ? I'm fighting doctors to do biopsy of swollen lymph nodes (for 6 months, many with size from 5-15 mm,various symptoms related to OC) they all say that they are too small for it.
Best wishes and God bless you all
A.
no dx yet, risk factors for HPV, many swollen lymph nodes form 0.5-1.5 cm. in the neck, ear pain, soar throat, lower jaw pain, lump behind tonssil...
PCP, dentist, hematologist, ENT, 2 rounds antibiotic (no effect), 2x echoscopy, various blood tests...

Don't remember it being smaller and growing. Just bam there it was. Visit to PCP, ct scan, biopsy of left tonsil. SCC with mets to one node.

I guess it depends on the location of the lymoh, and experience of the pathologist, and if using ultasound/sonogram. The patholologist was called In for review of the PET, and said he can do an FNAB. Good luck.

Five, as in 5, doctors later she was proved correct.

The size of a small bird's egg. It was NOT too small to biopsy. Plus as someone else mentioned there is very much the possibility of doing an ultrasound guided biopsy. I would PUSH - better safe than sorry.

They do not know about OC HPV breakthrough in modern world And if you talk to much they think that you are hypohondrical...

In my case the lump appeared more or less suddenly and it was about the size of a walnut. When they eventually cut me open to remove it they found a second smaller one malignant that I hadn't even felt. So you should definitely push these guys!
Keep us posted.

Trying to push them all, but things are going very slowly: visit-> wait for your turn-> visit-> wait for your turn again for a week or two... In my opinion majority of diagnosed with OC are in late stage, maybe 70-80 %, this thing is in such obvious place, but so hard to detect...
