Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 21 | My mom is now 4 months out from ending radiation, and she will be returning to Tucson for the winter. She's received excellent care here in Boston and will be coming back for regular check ups every 3 months or so. But, she also needs people there. Does anyone have recommendations for the following, with good head and neck experience: onc - oncologist
dentist
dry mouth specialist
acupuncture doctor
support groups
Other suggestions are welcome too. Mom has a pretty dry mouth and lymphadema. Therapeutic massage has really helped both, so we want to continue them. Thanks in advance, LB

Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 3,267 Likes: 4 | LB, Ask your doctor's in Boston, also check NCCN, NCI listing for Tuscan Hospitals dealing with HNC, and many probably have private practices also, and U.S. News Report Best Hospital's, which also has Best Doctor's', in association with Castle Connolly, who are some type of rating organization. American Cancer Society may help too. Google Best Oncologist in Tuscan, etc. Check SPOHNC for local chapters in Tucson, there are four, Scottsdale, 2 Phoenix, Chandler. Good luck
