I saw dentist on friday who said the red patches were no concern and a normal feature of mouth anatomy. But... Then she did say i have a small "nodule" on the left hand side of the arch in my throat. I can only describe the position as low down on the arch near where the tonsils would be (if i had them). She simply told me to see my GP if it doesnt resolve. Ive been feeling / staring at it all weekend and hadnt really noticed it before. Its pink in colour and slightly raised. I can only see / feel it when i push my tongue to the side.
Ive upset myself all weekend as it is now painful and im extremely scared. When the pain comes, it refers to my left ear too although the ear pain isnt severe or constant. sometimes my ear feels fine. Ive bypassed my GP and booked myself a private ENT appointment on wed aft.
Got to point out that i cant feel any neck nodes.
Anybody had a "nodule" or symptoms like this??

I went through my primary care doc and she didn't see anything under my tongue. It kept getting slightly larger and I brought it up to an ENT doc, he didn't notice anything, ;)he hardly looked. just keep an eye on it. A year and a half later, I had a stage2 tongue cancer. Be observant, get a second opinion.
