There was a small area that showed up in a completely unrelated area (rectal) My MO seemed pretty certain it was nothing to worry about BUT cancer being what it is she wants my gastroenterologist to check it out, waiting on that appt now. Still dealing with the effects from treatment. I am back to using mainly my PEG due to very bad pain in my throat that started a few weeks ago, I am now being treated for a possible fungul infection, as long as it isn't a cancerous tumor causing the pain I feel like I can deal with and we will figure out what is going on soon. Terrible fatigue, but my thyroid is still working well. Same ole answer "its gonna take a while" My nausea has been horrible the last 4 nights, just like during chemo when I had morning sickness a lot now I am having night sickness. MO says its possible it was stress due to upcoming scan, if it persist we will be looking into that. New pain meds today since the other ones weren't doing the job, oxycontin 20 mg twice a day, whew, after my first one I feel pretty loopy, like I am walking on a cloud the throat pain is still there but I can cope. I feel great about the scan result (small twinge due to the other area). Feeling positive even tho I still have some issues things are soooooo much better than they were 8 weeks ago, if I never got any better than I am now I could live with it and be happy but I am still getting better everyday!
