Hi,

It would be great if we could chat live with people in here, instead of having to wait for posts. Is there a way you could add this on the web site?
Thank you for all your hard work on this site and we cant thank you enough!
God Bless
Thanks
Stephanie

Stephany, If I can speak for Brian, this is not an option at this time. The cost of software and the added bandwidth (which also is expensive) is too much for the OCF to pay for. The amount of donations received will not yet support that function. Thanks for your input and if you are able, donate.

Over the last couple of years I have realized that Brian is too humble (my opinion). Were it not for his own substantial personal contributions, this site could not exist.

The best way we can show our appreciation for the endless hours he has put into this work would be to give financial support, then ask others to do the same.

There's nothing to stop interested members in sharing email addresses and signing up for ICQ or Instant Messenger. But speaking for myself, personally I already receive over a 100 emails a day as it is and I am just simply not available to engage in chat rooms at random due to other commitments (of course you can always check out). Like many board members here, I check the forum at various times during the day and respond as quickly as I can (assuming of course it is an area I am knowledgeable about). If it was a real serious problem, you should be heading to the ER anyway. I am happy to correspond with people personally and give them my phone number if they wish to talk.

Chiming in with Mark, Brian's rewards are going to be the treasures he is putting in the storehouse in heaven for the good works that he (and his wife) have been doing. He really needs our help to keep this unique forum going. In addition to personal donations, regular corporate donations would help help to stabilize things a bit. Talk to your human resources people.

Stephany, you are able to make a donation from the forum "home" page, one of the three big boxes that pops up. the same link is HERE: OCF donation page

Thank you guys for chiming in about the donations and the compliments on the labor of love that has become my life (there just isn't any time for anything else these days.) While there are many things on the list of additions that OCF would like to spend money on (Ingrid and I are just now putting up the funds for the printing of 250,000 three fold brochures for dental offices on
