Now I am getting an ache in my muscle next to my scar on my upper neck and ache in my lower part of my left back of head...(hope that made sense)...wondering if you think its the nerves regenerating? Thank you'

I'm surprised you didn't have the ache sooner! My neck muscles on the side of my dissection (some turkey neck going on for sure) as well as shoulder muscles, the muscles of my upper back and my entire body for that matter ache! ~lol~
Depending on where you are in recovery there could be many reasons, nerve regeneration being one of them. Also, we tend to compensate (posture, movements etc.) for deficiencies and and that can cause muscle ache.

My radiation oncologist is pretty confident its not a recurrence...He said its very common to experience aches and pains due to nerve regeneration, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had this too...I guess thinking Im not alone..lol...

This is quiet common.
