I just saw an ent and had the scope exam and it cost a fortune for him to come in and dismiss my throat for cobble stone and tonsil stones. he disregaeded this as a persitant infection. didnt care about the fleah colored patches on the back wall of throat, or the swollen lymph node (altho it was bigger, he said i just have a skinny neck), and said he wasnt going to do a bioosy bcus they have to wiegh the risks. as far as i knoew the risks were none and it could taje ten minutes wiout being under and you coukd go staright to work afterwards. I was told it could be between 150-300 $ and its was nearly 500! So now im making payments, no step further, and have a huge bill fir fluconazole nasal spray. WhT do i do?!

What about a fine needle biopsy of the swollen lymph node?
Concerning $$$ and insurance. When I had my 1st heart attack I didn't have insurance. I told the hospital and they told me I couldn't be refused treatment and I wasn't, including triple bypass surgery. The bill put me under and I had to file a Chapter 7 but I'm still alive and well even after a 2nd heart attack and cancer. Seek treatment if you truly feel you need it. It's only money and you're not taking it with you!
The other side of the coin is an ENT says you're Ok and it's not cancer. Take the medication and let it run it's course. If the gland doesn't go down within a week after the meds end, see your doc again.
Positive thoughts and prayers
