I want to stay on top of this and of course want someone to examine me for any new abnormalities.

I don't know about every three months, but the ENT will tell you the follow-up. Of course, you can always make an appt. if anything unusual pops up. It's also good to have an established relationship with an ENT, which saves time for any testing, procedures, appt., knows your history, and observations. Good luck.
