Well my Dad, who finished radiation in mid July after 2 months of Chemo, just got the results back from his first CT Scan and it is all clear! My prayer was that it would be of course, because he desperately needed some good news. Unfortunately, he has only cut back on his smoking, not quit, but one thing at a time, right! He has to go back in January to see his ENT, and February to see his radiologist. The radiologist was really surprised and he sees the oncologist next week! But when Dad started he was Stage 3 floor of mouth and mets to lymphnode, which was huge!!! They were expecting to have to do "minor" surgery on lymphnode after the radiation, but it is all clear for now.
I am so happy to see the caretaker section and I am going to pop in there next and see if there is any support to be offered!
I know I have said it before, but thanks to all of you, this connection has really been a lifeline for me through this!
