Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 58 | Hi all! Remember me? Maybe not...it's been a while. I've had a couple PET scans and each time everything has come back clear! But I now have this hard bump on my "hamulus" (I think it's called...) Where the hard palate meets the soft palate. There's two on either side and from what I've read that is normal? Except one of them hurts. Hurts when I swallow, when I eat, when I open my jaw really wide to yawn... Does anyone have any idea what I could be dealing with? I plan to call my ENT of course if the pain persists. Any advice would be appreciated!

Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | Of course I remember you  After what OC patients go thru with treatments and recovery any time something odd pops up afterwards it is wise to watch out for any new lumps or bumps. The saying goes...."when in doubt check it out". You cant be too careful about any after tx issues. It could be nothing more than some scar tissue but you never know so always err on the safe side and call the doc to have them examine you. If it were me I would call my ENT and make an appointment for sometime next week. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious! Good luck!!!
