I got my biopsy results for the long standing ulcer on floor or my mouth and they were negative for cancer. I am so happy because i too have been googling and going round the twist and thinking i dont know how to handle this, probably doesnt help that i watched my step mother suffer with cancer from the age of eleven until i was twenty years old. Also i suffer from extreme anxiety and had a breakdown twice, one was just last year and involved health anxiety.
I want to thank all the people that got back to my postings, i think its amazing that youve been through all of this and are supporting others continually. I thank you very much for your advice and support and will be keeping you in my thoughts. I was studying for a psychology degree but had to out it down for now due to recent happenings, i am planning to do some charitable work for cancer in the following months and tomorrow i will be getting rid of my tobacco for the second and final time.
I still have to attend a neck ultrasound for discomfort in the throat and ear area and show the surgeon the small spot i can feel in my gum and jawline but i am celebrating todays news and suspecting that it will all be well.
Thanks and thanks again xxxxx | | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 3,267 Likes: 4 Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) | Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 3,267 Likes: 4 | Good news! Good luck with your follow up.
