I have been worrying about possible Oral Cancer.
(see my thread: Canker or CANCER sores?)
Now I have discovered a gallery of ORAL LICHEN PLANUS, and a layman could never distinguish between these pictures and the Oral Cancer gallery.
Before you get your biopsy results, in many cases one can hope it might be non-malignant ORAL LICHEN PLANUS.
In my case characteristic "streaks" may indicate Lichen rather than OC. (Hopefully!)

Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 3,267 Likes: 4 | There are many other types of oral conditions it can be that fit the same description, photo, so it's best not to self diagnose or set yourself up to one idea, let the doctors do that. Good luck.
