Joined: May 2013 Posts: 4 | Hey, I'n 14 years old and i'm in high school. My tongue is not looking right and i'm afraid it might be oral cancer. Picture of my tongue http://i.imgur.com/u5Z4lSb.pngI haven't been to the doctor to check this out but when I went to the dentist she said it could be geographic tongue but the bump at the back of my tongue is scaring me. I don't want to have to get my tongue cut off :'(. It doesn't cause any pain. Im very sorry but over the internet its not possible to know exactly what is going on by viewing a photo of your tongue. It could be something very simple like thrush.
I hope its nothing serious. If you are using tobacco products of any kind stop immediately as it could be irritating your mouth.
