And I cannot get over how much saliva I am producing. My mouth constantly feels like its watering, really getting annoying. I did not have any radiation or chemo. So my question is just for those without chemo. Is this normal? Can i do anything to alleviate this constant feeling of my mouth watering or salivating (kinda makes my jaws achy)
Thanks!

Do you have that spit suction thing? I used that a lot the first couple of weeks! Mine got better though after about 3 weeks, so hopefully yours will too, good luck!

Same deal, after a few weeks it went away, and now I have more dry mouth...oh joy!

Thank you for this conversation, I've had a ton of mucus/saliva after surgery a few weeks back. Had dry mouth for almost seven years and then after this fight with a new tumor out of left field I was like "What?" Surgeon told me at follow up visit it was healing process and what saliva glands I have that can produce are kicking in and overcompensating to fight bacteria and help heal. I went from one extreme to the other! Things now have flavor, a Blessing to all of this! Maybe I'll maintain a little of it as I get back to another "New normal." Best wishes las3645!
