Throughout Vince's cancer battle, we were fortunate enough to have the support of a good friend who had a major battle with Ewings Sarcoma...not the same as BOT SCC, but a lot of similarity in the process of diagnosis, finding treatment and making it through treatment. He wrote a book, "I'm Not Lance: A Cancer Experience and Survival Guide for Mere Mortals", which we found loaded with good, common sense information. I found this book so helpful, I have a case in my home that I send to newly diagnosed folks. All proceeds from the book have gone to the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.

Last week, the author made the decision to make this book available electronically, for free. I'm posting the link here in hopes that it helps someone in our community, either newly diagnosed, trying to figure out the maze of trying to find good treatment...deep in the thick of treatment, or even someone like my husband who is post treatment, looking back. As well, I think it's a great read for caregivers, a peak inside the mind of someone who has gone through a similar experience. Ana
