Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 8 | Surgery was successful, clean margins, yay! Cancer free as far as I know.
Now just dealing with the swelling and drooling and difficulty eating/talking. It's really not too bad though.
Doctor went ahead and used alloderm even though I preferred a skin graft. But it's over with so I don't care much.
Age 30, mom to 2 little boys
Small tumor in right cheek removed 1/23/13
DX PLGA 2/15/13
Appointment with ENT 2/26
PET scan clear
Surgery for wide excision w/ skin graft scheduled for 3/28
