If your husband is having problems, post a question here. Or you can do a search to find the info among the thousands of posts and topics. Posting a question will provide several different answers and points of view. It will also have those words stay to help future OC patients who are in the same situation.

OCF is like a second family, we all 'get' you and your situation. Recovery can be difficult. Adjusting to new ways of life isnt easy. The best thing you can do to help with a speedy recovery is to keep up the high nutrition and hydration. By adding high protein whey powder it will help with heeling faster. A speech pathologist and physical therapist are also going to be great to have around while recovering from what your husband has gone thru.

Caregiving is a difficult job, dont forget to take some time for you once in a while too.

There are quite a few of us here and there are several BOT recurrence members as well who've had second rounds of chemo and rads and surgery - I'm sure someone will pop by - charm? Paul? Welcome - there are some terrific resources here. Take care.

Welcome, Chuckles. I had tonsil, BOT, lymph involvement, which resolved from my initial treatment from chemo alone, but had several recurrences in the lymph nodes, resulting in a radical neck dissection, and a few others. Usually for recurrences, surgery is the best option. If you have any questions, just ask, someone will try to answer or direct to another that can.

It's unclear to me whether you want discussions about your husband's issues or the very real and different yet intertwined issues of caregivers. If it is the latter, then try posting your issue in a separate forum here, called caregivers . It's description says it all
Family members and caretakers can discuss their own personal issues and find support here. Caretakers have their own fears and problems that are often better discussed with someone other than the patient.
But if it's things about your husband's TX, there are way too many of us who have have the cancer come back so if there is something specific, post and we will try our best to answer you.
