Sorry you need the support here, but at least you came to the right place. It is good that your attitude is so positive. That will have a good effect on your treatment and the results. If possible, would suggest you have chemo along with rad as the last I heard that treatment is giving very good results. I am also surprised you didn't have rad and chemo before. Hopefully this time you can get it all out.

Memorial Sloan Kettering has a few Long Island locations. I think my Radiation Oncologist is covering at one of them. Let me know if you need a name. Since you are in the Metro-NY area, MSKCC should be one of your opinions. My $.02, Chemo/Radiation fast! My medical oncologist is the head and neck guy at MSKCC if you need his number.

Radiation planning starts aug 12. My case is going to be reviewed by the tumor board at LIJ next week and they will check everything out and decide if i'm going in the right direction with treatment.
so i guess i'm on my way to hell, but i'll just be passing through.

All you have to do now is get a little treatment and bingo, gone in 60 Seconds, or so. Will be praying for you to tolerate the treatments and keep a good attitude, or a stiff upper lip.
