Anywhere from a wee bit to bladder emptying without feeling the need? I mentioned it to the doctor the last time I saw him and he said watch it to see if it gets worse. Doesn't feel like a bladder infection. Just no control. Any insight is extremely helpful. Just a little over 1/2 way through.

Peripheral Neuropathy, chemo induced, diabetic, etc., can cause incontinance. One of the side effects for Cisplatin can be CIPD..Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy. A UTI doesn't necessarily have to be accompanied by other symptoms like pain. Medications can cause it too, like muscle relaxers. Drinking excess water.......Good luck, and hope it's temporary.

I suggest going to your family doc and getting it checked out to rule out infection. If you have one and its left untreated it can quickly become a very serious medical condition.

The first chemo treatment I thought it was just all the hydration they were giving me, tho never in my life did I have problems controlling the flow. At the second treatment I used up all their swifter pads in the bathroom trying to soak up the "leaks"....by the time I had my 6th chemo I was carrying my own Kotex pads, and using at least 4 of them during the 8 hours I was there. I was also having to make a mad dash to the bathroom at least 2 times during the night...Once done with treatment, everything has gone back to normal. Maybe it's all the water I drank, maybe it was the hydration...maybe it was the chemo itself...I just know that incontinance came with chemo, and left at the same time I was done with it.

We think of it as the "pound of flesh" he had to give the beast to get through this. That said, I would get yourself checked for a UTI, just in case. Best of luck, Ana

Poise pads are a God send. Hopefully everything gets back to normal after the treatment is complete. 1 Chemo and 7 radiations left. Countdown time.
