I too have all my teeth. I have a great dentist whom "sealed" my teeth prior to my radiation. In addition a complete dental check before and every other month checks for the first year. I still have every tooth and can't imagine how much more difficult eating would become with the double whammy of low salivia and no teeth!
Take care
press the issue and keep your teeth.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.

I'd really question the pulling the teeth bit. My teeth are ok as far as no cavities, but always had some sort of peridontal thing or another going on, had max rad to tongue and still have the teeth.
Main thing afterword is to do regular checkups, do the flouride trays care for them even more. No reason to get them all pulled arbitrarily. That's old school technique.
