The weather was miserable but we got through it. The event was wonderful and I got to finally meet people in person that I have "met" on these boards! I met Kerri's husband and adorable children (she wasn't up to making it today) and Amy(aimeelee311) who lost her mother earlier this year. We raised a lot of money and we are planning on making this an annual tradition. It is just a small way to give back and to make people aware! Morgan had her shirt on that matched ours with a picture of Ken, Morgan and myself but her's said below "In memory of My Daddy" - I know it was a little shocking for others to see but I think it made the point!

Im so proud of you that you went to this event. I know how difficult it is for caregivers of those we have lost to attend the walks. At the different walks Ive been lucky enough to attend, Ive spoken to many you have lost loved ones. Its always such a eye opener hearing all their stories.
Thnks for everything you have done to help spread awareness!
