Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 8 | I have just finished 35 proton radiaition treatments. The good,,, I drove myself to all treatments, I can eat and drink fine, didn't lose any weight. The bad,,, skin on neck and face got really burnt and blistered. I get tired quickly and have to rest. Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 945 | Congrats on completing your treatment and the driving part. My husband was really annoyed I had to drive him the last week. As Cheryl says - get your rest. Doing a little activity (a short walk) and then rest will help you build up your strength as the days go by - but you have to be patient.
