| Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 2 Member | OP Member Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 2 | Hello: I am Kas. Just had a biopsy that came back as Moderate Dysplasia of toungue. Margins are not clean so has to do it again. Concerned what if they don't get the margin clean again. Any comments or advice?

Not everyone who has dysplasia will have it turn into cancer. Here is a link for some further info about dysplasia from the main OCF pages. Im sure your mouth is sore from the surgery. Try to rinse gently with 16 oz warm water, 2 tsp salt and 2 tsp baking soda to help it to heal. Try to relax and not worry so much about "what if". That will cause undue stress which doesnt help you at all. Best wishes with your recovery and upcoming second surgery. Dysplasia info
