My husband is 5 months out of treatment and would be really doing well if he hadn't developed sleep apnea 2 1/2 months ago. His lymphedema suddenly became worse althougth he had been doing massage and he developed sleep apnea almost overnight. Has had the CPAP machine 5 weeks now but unfortunately the pressure from the machine makes the swelling much worse. It is actually worse on his good side which I think is very strange. I have checked with the sleep apnea doctor and his massage therapist and no one seems to have dealt with this combination of problems. Just wondering if anyone else has??

Is his tongue somehow affected by treatment that could benefit from exercises? What about a speech therapist? Or going back to your radiation oncologist?
