What type of fluoride are you using?
Also your saliva will return ( alarge % of it) but it may take up to 2 years for you to recover as much as you will. I saw my greatest saliva and taste improvement 15 months post Tx.

Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.

Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 32 | David, I use Prevident, perscibed by my doc's early on. They said use it now (after four molars extracted) and forever...that's a long time.
I think I feel saliva on the opposite site as radiation. None or nothing notcible on focus side of rad.

Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | I used Prevident 1.1 sodium at first, given to me by my dentist, but when I found out he was charging me $20 a tube I went looking for a cheaper product. I found one that only costs $7 a tube at Walgreens (prescript needed of course) and it actually didn't burn like Prevident did and it was called Cypress.

Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 126 | My dentist told me to use GelCam, which is made my Colgate and also over the counter. So far, no complaints. It doesn't irritate my mouth and my teeth are looking good.
