Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | I went back and calculated what my BMI would have been at my lowest weight during Tx and of course I used my age way back then and my BMI was 20 and to follw up on Eric's mean age challanged post, I had zero muscles at that low point.

Age 58 at Dx, HPV16+ SCC, Stage IV BOT+2 nodes, non smoker, casual drinker, exercise nut, Cisplatin x 3 & concurrent IMRT x 35,(70 Gy), no surgery, no Peg, Tx at Moffitt over Aug 06. Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.

Last summer I was frequently sick off and on and had lost alot more weight. My BMI number from last summer is 18. I looked horrible and felt even worse. So glad this summer Im not going thru that!

We had a young, thin, innocent,totally type "miss prissy" girl who worked for us right out of high school as a server when we first opened. Her nickname became "fluffy" because of all her traits mentioned above. She's now 32 and I still call her Fluffy.
