It seems to be like an address book where you add people who you want to contact more often (PM or email) without looking through the user list which holds everyone. Guess the explanation below is the best fit  Gabriele "You can add anyone as a UBB Buddy. It's not a huge feature, but when you are sending PM's you can select one of your buddies from the drop down list. This is particularly helpful if your buddy has a similar username to someone else, or if they have special characters or spaces in their screen names."

I noticed on when I click on "My Stuff" and "View Profile" it shows that I already have some UBB's, but only because they added me. PeteyB. is one of them and I know he has already passed on. When I click on "Best Buddies" there is nothing listed. Also, this is something I should probably have figured out, but how do I add someone to my UBB list??? I tried doing the "Add to my watched lists" but that didn't do it.

Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 4,918 Likes: 65 | This "visibility" was a new feature when we updated the software recently. Apparently it just show people who have added you. The software assumes you know who you have added. We can turn this off, but I thought it was harmless. I think that we should go back into profiles through the backdoor of the software and while keeping them, alter profiles of those who have been lost and lock them. It is kind of a time consuming task, but I can see where some might find it unpleasant to see a lost friends name. We already take their emails out, as we are aware of them so their families will not get emails that we send out to everyone.
