I was diagnosed on Friday the 13th of December 2002. My diagnosis was SCC at base of tongue, stage 4. Surgery was not an option. I had radiation and chemo. My treatment ended in May 2003. I am doing well. Looking forward to the posts on this board.

I am glad that you are doing well. You should place a post in the survivor section and tell us more about your recovery. Did you have XRT or IMRT?
