Joannc,

I to am waiting for my test results of a tongue biopsy. I did hear some good news. After a tough weekend, my ENT called me on Monday with the preliminary test results. I believe it's the frozen section test. They came back negative. So for yesterday and up till this morning I was estactic.

This morning I had my post op ENT appointment and was suppose to get my final results. They are not back yet. I won't hear the final results until the Friday after Christmas. So I'm back waiting and worrying. Even with good news my emotions are back on edge.

Waiting to hear is tough. There is no denying it. I found that talking to others and getting out helps but only goes so far. This list is a god send. When I had my first occurence (SSC on lower lip) four years ago there was no such resource. There was no place to do research and no visible support structure. Fortunately there is now. You are not alone in this venture.

Keep your spirits up. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve

So here I am with another question. My husband has been doing great after his bout with stage IV cancer of his right tonsil. He is 18 months post treatmemt. (rad & chemo)Fully recovered from his modified radical neck surgery. Eating well and enjoying life. Until yesterday, when he had a chest xray. Got a call from his ENT telling him to go get a CAT scan because of a "spot" on the xray that he wants a better look at. So of course I think the worst. But I am hoping there is another explanation. Any suggestions? Happy Holidays to all especially those of you still in treatment or waiting for the other shoe to fall.
