We have almost 1000 registered members that use this website, If only 25% sent a small donation in Heathers name it will make a big difference in the quality of the website. Please go to the general board and follow the instructions to make a donation. When I see 5 donations in two days it disappoints me that more people don't donate. Keep in mind though, that lots of people either don't use credit cards or don't feel comfortable using them online. I think some people will be mailing their donations, so it will take awhile to get a good accounting. Also, some people are on fixed or limited incomes and really can't afford a donation. Although I don't think your figure of 25% being able to do so is unrealistic. I guess time will tell. Thanks, Rosie

Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 153 | i was about to make a donation using credit card online, however when i saw that the connection was not 'https', i stopped the transaction. i'll look to see about sending a snail mail donation. does OCF use https for credit cards? if not, can that be upgraded to encourage us regular online credit card folks to buy things or make contributions easily. thanks, larryb | | |
