I'm about 1.5 years out of my treatment and have been fortunate that my saliva has returned to a degree. However, I live by Theramints, made by 3M. They are mints sweetened only with xylitol, which doesn't promote cavities, which is a major concern for those of use with dry mouth. I find they encourage my own saliva, which by definition works better in the ol' mouth/throat than water, *and* you can easily carry a supply with you. I no longer need to carry water. http://www.3m.com/product/information/Dental-Xylitol-Theramints.htmlThere are other xylitol mints on the market, but they tend to be sweetened with a combination of things, which might not be as beneficial? I can't get these here in the UK, so I tend to get them in large bottles when visiting north America. Oh, and I strongly prefer the mints over the "cool fruit" option. They're ok, but I like the mint better. Good luck! -Seth

I use a lot of Biotene Gum. Really seems to do the trick for me. Good Luck All. Steve
