I've developed what feels like a blister on the inside of my gum. I also have a few other 'bumps' that are under my tongue. I called the doctors office and his assistant told me it's probably just some inflammation from the surgery and just to keep an eye on it? Has anyone else had this happen? Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do to make it go away? Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!!!

Im 2 months off my surgery ans something appeared last week but really seems to be improving. My mouth was weird one week after surgery, and its getting better. I think will happen the same on you. Did u had neck dissection?
December, 2011 - T1N0M0 SSC Oral Tongue sugery (Dec 07, 2011). Partial glossectomy, primary closure. Selective Neck dissection, all 57 nodes free. 29 at diagnosis, no risk factors at all. No smoking, drinking and HPV negative. Can you explain? I can't.

I had a laryngoscopy on 1/10/12, to remove what we thought was a simple cyst and my mouth was weird after that too... I seem to remember the bumps from that time too. But the blister thing is new. It's hard not to worry about every bump, lump, swelling, etc. What was done during your surgery? If you don't mind sharing...
