Jackie at Dr. Bury's (I just call him Jeff) office and I are childhood friends, she was the first person I talked to after I found out I might have cancer. Jeff is a sharp Dr, he saved my life as I was such an advanced case he forwarded on my case to the UW in Seattle where my tumor board was held. I got to do chemo/rads in Lewiston then my major surgeries at the U. I still go in and get checkups from Jeff where we B.S. most of the time. Great guy.
Dr. Anderson and his nurse Vickie are fantastic, that whole office is so helpful. I'm not familiar with Dr. Drake though but I'm sure you're dad is in good hands.
I used to spend a lot of time in Clarkston before I sold my restaurant as I was at Costco twice a week. Now I get up there every other week or so for groceries and of course Starbucks ,one in Clarkston is great! Monica is the manager and runs a tight ship.
If you're on FB, look me up there are very few survivors in our area.

It's good to hear positive opinions from someone else who has been down this road. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 945 "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) | "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 945 | Hi - glad to hear your dad's doctors also have Eric's stamp of approval. My husband's ENT turned out to have been the resident of the dad of one of our riding buddies, so we have our two degrees of separation, too!

Have you tried acupuncture or acupressure to alleviate nausea? Both worked wonders for me, like a lightswitch being turned off.
Good luck with your family, schooling and work. Bless you for choosing to be an Angel, your Father is indeed fortunate.
