I had my 2 year clear check in December. I am truly grateful. Anyway, I have been experiencing some strange symptoms lately and don't know if I should be concerned or not. As you can see below I am a tognue cancer survior but my problem is this. I have been haveing diffrent pain and a feeling of fullness, under my jaw bone near my ear recently. Pretty tender to touch. and a little difficulty swallowing like there is a pill stuck or something, On the same side as my tongue cancer. I don't feel any lump and can't see any changes in my oral cavity. And becouse I always have burning, numbness and not normal feelings on that side of my neck, mouth, ear etc, I don't know if I am being paraniod or if I should be concerned.
Sorry I havent' been hear for awhile, I get weird if I spend to much time on this forum, I do care about all of you and I am happy to see so many of you still here and posting you don't know how much you all of the regulars around here have helped me as well as countless others. I was afraid more would be gone. I have seen many lost in my 2 years and it makes me sad and scared.

Nice to see you again. Since you recently had a check up its probably nothing to be concerned about. But if it bothers you, make an appointment with your ENT to go over this area with a closer inspection. It wont hurt to get checked and ease your mind. The saying goes... when in doubt, check it out.
Hope you dont be a stranger, stop by once in a while. Im sure it would help you relax knowing your knowledge could help others.
Please let us know how it checks out.

Sometimes I have the same feeling it all depends on the weather. When I talked to my surgeon about it he said, it's the scar tissue. I massage it and it goes away, but sometimes it comes back within days and I massage it again.
I had the feeling something was stuck in my throat it was acid reflux I'm on meds for it not a problem any longer.
Or you might want to call your Dr. to be on the safe side.
Take care, Connie
