I just started to follow this thread. It's late on Christmas Eve here and Santa's on his way. I'm so, so happy to hear that Kevin rocked his treatments! I'll head to bed on a happy note of hope and well-being for all of my OCF friends! Congratulations on clear scans! Each time I hear those words, it makes my day!

Thanks everyone. Kevin just got home from his first 2 weeks back to work in Alaska. He did very well. He was tired the first few days, but by the end was up to speed again. The hardest part was the dry mouth I think. It was WAAYY below zero the entire 2 weeks and breathing in the cold air hurt his throat.
I'm just in awe that he has been able to return to work. God is good. It is hard to understand why he has done so well when we have friends not doing well. We are happy of course, but there's almost a guilty feeling when we meet our fellow fighters. Does that make sense?

Tell Kevin he's my hero. I live in hot humid Florida and I can't imagine dealing with dry mouth crap in sub zero temps.

Kathy

Your "almost guilty feeling" just shows how empathic and caring your are. Let me assure you that as someone whose recovery has been less than optimal, I'm glad to hear success stories like Kevin's. Hope the good news continues to come

Eric

Hilarious and a much kinder/funnier reply than I was going to post about Reiki
